Morgan K. Baumgard
Morgan is an Associate Attorney with Ferenczy Benefits Law Center in Atlanta, Georgia. With over a decade of experience working in the employee benefits field, Morgan primarily assists plan sponsors, advisors, and third party administrators (TPAs) with their unique and evolving needs.
Morgan advises clients on ERISA fiduciary and prohibited transaction issues, analyzes plan compliance issues, provides guidance and representation with respect to corrective filings with the IRS and DOL, and assists third party administrators and advisors with their service provider agreements, as well as their reporting and disclosure obligations.
Prior to joining Ferenczy Benefits Law Center, Morgan worked as a compliance consultant and paralegal at a Fortune 100 financial institution providing third party administration, recordkeeping, brokerage, advisory, and trustee services. Morgan has also worked as a law clerk for a small ERISA-focused law firm, as well as a paralegal at large and mid-size law firms in employee benefits, executive compensation, and corporate litigation.
Morgan earned her B.A. from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon.
