Jessica Hobbs, J.D.
Jessica Hobbs is an Associate Attorney with Ferenczy Benefits Law Center where she works on qualified retirement plans and related issues.
Jessica worked as a social worker for several years and later as a residence hall director at a school in Charleston, North Carolina, before pursuing her long-held goal of becoming an attorney. During law school, she spent two summers as a Summer Associate at Poyner Spruill, where she was introduced to the world of ERISA and employee benefits law by attorney and industry leader Kelsey Mayo.
Jessica enjoys the challenge and constant learning that come with employee benefits law. She compares working through new guidance and legal issues to solving a puzzle and especially enjoys helping clients navigate and resolve complex challenges. Known for her strong writing skills, she excels at breaking down complicated concepts into clear, practical language that clients can understand and apply.
