"My Mom retired from her job as a Registered Nurse at the local hospital after 33 years of service.  The hospital tried to void all but 10 years of her service for a grandfathered retirement plan, offering my Mom a mere third of the benefit that she was entitled to.  With Ilene's expertise, we were able to wage a successful battle with the hospital.  Not only did the hospital pay Mom her rightful retirement in full, but they paid interest on it for the two years it took to settle, and reimbursed my parents the legal and professional fees that they paid.  Almost all of Ilene's time was done pro bono because she felt that the hospital's actions were so egregious and my parents, now living on Social Security benefits alone, were not in the position to pay.  Ilene didn't have to do that, but it goes to show the type of person that she is.   On behalf of my parents and myself, we are eternally grateful!"
